To keep up with customer demand in the face of the pandemic related production delays, the United States Mint authorized a limited production run of bullion Silver Eagles at the Philadelphia Mint. Such bullion issues are generally struck at the West Point Mint. This piece comes from that historic run. Early 2021 Silver Eagle releases are also some of the final issues that will include John Mercanti's original heraldic eagle reverse design, which is set to be replaced mid-year.This coin is U.S. legal tender.
