In connection with the sale of combustion engine or transmission oil as well as oil filters, we as a dealer are obliged under the Waste Oil Ordinance to provide information about relevant regulations and obligations. We would like to point out that waste oil or Oil filters and oil-containing waste that occurs regularly when changing the oil are hazardous goods that must be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.
You can return used oil in the same quantity as the fresh oil you bought from us, as well as oil filters and oily waste that regularly occurs when changing the oil, free of charge at our point of sale during business hours, or send it to us for free disposal at your own expense in packaging approved for the transport of dangerous goods .
The waste oil must be marked as dangerous goods when it is shipped. It must not be sent by parcel service without special packaging. Each canister must first be sealed in a box insert made of extra-thick foil. Shipping may only take place in special dangerous goods boxes that comply with IATA regulations.
