If you've had to fit your hands inside the rim to push the valve stem through you know what we mean. That can be a long frustrating journey without this tool. This tool is used to pull valve stems and valve stem inner tube assemblies through the valve stem hole on a motorcycle rim. Just slip this tool through the hole in the rim, remove the valve core from the inner tube, then thread the tool into the valve stem and pull the stem through the rim.
