    Description

    New reed scraping tool made from hardened HSS tool steel. This measures 5/16” x 5/16” x 2-1/2”. Each end has a ten degree angle and the leading edge has been sharpened to scrape near the tip of a read. Each side of this tool has been hand-lapped on an extra-fine diamond sharpening stone.  This tool works fine for scraping and adjusting clarinet and saxophone reeds.  Wood from the reed comes off as dust on the edges of this tool. This tool has very sharp corners and edges but it is still safer than using a reed knife. From a non-smoking house.
