Description

Reserve reeds are crafted using naturally-grown cane from D'Addario's own foreign fields. D'Adario has pioneered the first practical and precise system to digitally measure and cut the incredibly complex geometric patterns necessary to re-invent single reeds.  Reserve reeds are cut to the tightest tolerances, offering the most consistent performance. These sampler packs allow players to experiment with different strengths to help them find their best sound before committing to buying a box of reeds. Each pack consists of four reeds, and each reed is individually sealed in the pack. You get one each of 2.5 and 3.0 in Reserve and Reserve Classic. The regular Reserve is a filed reed that offers a focused sound, a shorter vamp for even response, rounded tip corners for tonal warmth, and a standard tip thickness for quick response. Reserve Classic are made with a thicker blank and filed to offer more tonal depth, a longer vamp for flexibility, squared tip corners for ease of response, and a thicker tip for clear articulation.
