    Description

HP/Hewlett Packard E1401B High Power Mainframe VXI Rack
For sale- an HP/Hewlett Packard E1401B High Power Mainframe VXI Rack as pictured.
When I say high power I am simply reading off of the front of the rack, but in fact this particular E1401B has NO power.
The power supply section is missing from the back, which is why I have held onto it for a number of years, just using it to store VXI modules in.
now that I am down to just a few VXI boards it makes sense to try to get rid of it.
Maybe someone has one that the rack was damaged in transit leaving them with a donor power supply?
The E1401B I believe was also sold as an Agilent product but other than a small Agilent repair sticker on this one I don’t see Agilent on it anywhere else.
The rack is designed to hold 13 plug-ins, but this one as you can see if you look closely at the pictures is missing one of the top slide in guide pieces.
So you would have to fill the other 12 slots first and then probably you could still used the slot missing the top piece as the board on either side would serve as a guide for plugging in the module.
Other than that and the missing power supply it is in very good condition.
Essentially I am offering this for parts, as minus the power supply all you have is a storage rack.
Given the cost of shipping (it isn’t heavy without the PS but the box size remains huge) I am going to say no returns on this one, sorry.
Please check out my other listings for more interesting lab, test and optical equipment.
    Check back often!
Sold as is, as described, as pictured.
Potential buyers are asked to please make sure you have read the listing carefully, and understand what you are buying.
Payment is expected within 7 days of the sale and I need to hear from you within 3 days to confirm the transaction.
Given the size and weight of the item I have opted to let the ebay shipping calculator come up with the cost of shipping it based on a presumed weight of 40 pounds in a box 28x21x16.
Which is probably not a box size I have just sitting around, please be patient while I find something suitable.
