    Description

SKF FSYE 4.7/16 H FSYE Series Roller Bearing Unit, Non-Expansion Type, Collar Mounted, TriGard Seals, Inch, 4-7/16", 4-3/4", 13-1/8" - 13-7/8" Bolt Center
Four-bolt housing with ball bearing insert for a ready to mount installation
Cast iron housing and steel bearing unit for carrying shafts with radial or radial and thrust loads
Relubricatable solid one-piece housing pillow block for maximum strength and rigidity
Non-expansion-type bearing with concentric locking collar for secure attachment to guided shaft
TriGard seals to retain lubricant and protect against contamination
This SKF ready-to-mount non-expansion type SKF inch roller bearing unit has a cast-iron housing with four mounting bolt holes and TriGard seals. The one-piece unit is made of grey cast iron and is painted blue to protect it in accordance with ISO 12944-2, corrosivity category C2. It is assembled, lubricated, and sealed at the factory for maximum strength, rigidity, and service life. This non-expansion-type bearing uses a locking collar to assure a secure attachment to a guided shaft. The unit has TriGard seals to help protect it from coarse contaminants. These inch roller bearing units are designed for plain shafts and can be used for both locating and non-locating bearing positions.
Mounted bearings combine a bearing mounted inside a housing unit. The bearing housing replaces the need for a casting or weldment to position the bearing securely for reliable operation, and its design determines the type of insert bearing. Insert bearings use rolling elements (ball, cylindrical, spherical, barrel, needle, spindled, or tapered) to maintain the separation between moving parts to reduce rotational friction, and to support radial and axial loads. Available in a variety of materials and mounting configurations, mounted bearings can be one- or two-piece, they can have an extended inner ring and locking device, and they can have seals and end caps that retain lubrication and protect the working parts of the bearing from environmental debris. Mounted bearings support shafts in a variety of mounting configurations (flange block, hanger, pillow block, and take-up block), and are used in a range of applications from light duty shaft guidance on conveyors to road building equipment and crushers.
SKF manufactures bearings, seals, and lubrication systems for automotive, OEM, energy, and other and industrial applications. The company, founded in 1907, is headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden, and meets International Organization for Standardization (ISO) TS 16949 and 9001 standards for quality assurance.
